Julie Gilmore began performing in musical theatre productions during the 1980’s and after inheriting her grandfather’s collection of vintage harmonica’s Julie performed with them in various folk and blue’s combos up and down the north coast of New South Wales during the 1990’s and 2000’s. 

She now continues to advance her harp playing and vocals in combination with rock and roll singer Tony Haley with their unique take on the music of the 1960’s and 1970’s.

Julie recorded ‘Cottonfields’ in the NSW town of Grenfell in 2021 and it was released by Piranha Brothers as part of the ‘20 Hot Hits’ album in 2022.
