Peter Knox achieved notoriety in the seventies as the bass player in the irreverent Australian band the 69ers. He formed The Zarsoff Brothers in late 1979 and the band enjoyed immediate success on the Sydney pub scene, with a very entertaining combination of blues, rock and comedy. They 
continued for several more years in different formats.

The EP ‘Bumsweat’ released in 1980 was Piranha Brothers most successful release, selling the first 500 copies within two weeks of release, even though it was only sold at the band’s gigs. The follow up EP ‘Nose Picking Boogie’, also sold extremely well.
